Former Inmate Claims He Was Aaron Hernandez's 'Lover' in Prison

More stories about Aaron Hernandez's life in prison continue to bleed into public consciousness, and the latest series of apocryphal tales involves a secret lover right up until Hernandez's suicide.
Kyle Kennedy, who is the subject of an upcoming special on REELZ, claims that he and the former New England Patriots tight end "did everything together" in prison, including some brief romantic flings.
"We'd lock in to either cook food or smoke, get high, listen to music, just chill when we didn’t want to be around other people," Kennedy said. "We used to write letters back and forth to each other all day.”
In the special, Kennedy claims that he and Hernandez, who was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder of Odin Lloyd in 2015, sold and used drugs almost every day. He also professed that the former Florida Gator admitted to four different murders, often joking that he had "four bodies."
Hernandez's sexuality was highlighted in Netflix's "Killer Inside" as something that he felt very insecure about, which was was thrown out as a potential explanation for his murders. In that documentary, Dennis SanSoucie, Hernandez's high school quarterback and close friend, alleged that he and Hernandez shared a brief romantic episode in high school.
It's easy to claim anything about Hernandez considering he's dead and unable to present his side of the story, but Kennedy's inside look at Hernandez's life in prison still is worth a close examination.
