Aaron Jones Has Excellent Reaction to Clinching Playoff Berth and Knocking Bears Out
By Chris Pyo
Aaron Jones is a bad, bad man. With the win over the Bears, the Green Bay Packers successfully clinched a playoff berth and simultaneously eliminated their arch-rivals from playoff contention. Jones rushed for two touchdowns in the pivotal matchup, enjoying yet another big outing.
After the game, Jones was all class, but he couldn't help and admit how good it felt to have such a big impact in making sure the Bears weren't playing football past December.
Jones is definitely going to have a fun time for the rest of December knowing that he's guaranteed postseason football for the Packers. Meanwhile, the Bears and their fanbase will have to suffer through a football-less January for the eighth time in the past nine seasons.
Last year, the Bears and Packers faced off in Week 15 as well, and the stakes were reversed. Green Bay was desperately vying for a playoff spot but were denied by Mitchell Trubisky and Co. Suffice to say, that loss was definitely somewhat fresh in the minds of the Packers on Sunday.
The Packers will now try to fight off the New Orleans Saints for a first-round bye, as they finish off the season with rivalry clashes against the Vikings and Lions.
