Aaron Jones Needs 2 Touchdowns to Break Ahman Green's Packers Franchise Record
By Ian Anderson

The Green Bay Packers are 12-3 and poised for a first round bye in the playoffs, should they take down the Lions on Sunday. And while Aaron Rodgers is having a productive season, there's another offensive star in Green Bay who has been lighting up the league.
Aaron Jones is enjoying one of the best seasons by a running back in Packers' history, and has a chance to break a pretty significant record if he can have a productive game in Detroit.

With two touchdowns on Sunday, Jones will break former Packers running back Ahman Green's record for most touchdowns scored in a season. Green found the end zone 20 times in 2003, and Jones currently sits just one shy of that tally.
The Texas El-Paso product has a league-leading 16 rushing touchdowns on the season to go with three receiving scores. If he can tack on two more on Sunday, he'll hold the Packers' record.
Aaron is Green Bay's MVP ... Aaron Jones.

Jones has already doubled his rushing touchdown tally from last season, as the 2019 breakout star has become a focal point in Green Bay's offense.
While the team is still Rodgers' to run, Jones has arguably been the most valuable member of the Packers' offensive identity this season.
