Aaron Jones Has Awesome Response to Being Fined for Taunting Cowboys' Byron Jones
By Jerry Trotta
The NFL determined on Friday that Green Bay Packers tailback Aaron Jones would have to wave goodbye to a noticeable chunk of cash -- $10,527, to be exact -- as punishment for waving goodbye to Dallas Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones as he waltzed into the end zone during the Pack's road win last weekend. Per ESPN's Rob Demovsky, Jones' actions violated the league's stance on taunting.
Initially, NFL probably thought that they got the last laugh. However, Jones delivered a savage response upon finding out about the fine. "I can't say it's worth it, but it's a dope picture," he said.
"I'm going to have that blown up."
Yup, we can now confirm that Jones has now handed the Cowboys two losses within a weeks' time with this perfect zinger.
The Texas product erupted for four touchdowns and set careers highs in total yards (182), receptions (seven), and receiving yards (75), a performance that saw him take home NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
For those having trouble recollecting the awesome image of Jones' taunting Dallas' DB, we've got you more than covered.
Through six weeks of action, this might have to take the cake as the most awesome and candid photo of the 2019 season, and we don't want to hear your rebuttals.
