Gleyber Torres has only been in the MLB for less than two full years, but he's already deserving of high praise from Yankees teammate Aaron Judge, who's expecting a monster Year 3.

When asked about Torres' trajectory as compared to his own, Judge recently stated that he's never seen anything like Torres, who is a two-time All-Star at 22.

At that age, Judge was at Single-A.

Torres had a monster sophomore season for the Yankees, hitting 38 home runs and knocking in 90 runs, along with a respectable .278 average and solid defense at both second base and shortstop (though he has room for improvement in that department).

He's quickly building a case for perhaps someday becoming the first Yankees captain since Derek Jeter retired, which says a lot about the type of player and person he's carried himself as during his first two years in the majors.

After an amazing season which saw the Yankees make it to the ALCS, even with a record number of injuries, Torres will be looking to somehow elevate his game even more and lead the Yankees to their first World Series championship since 2009. If he's able to successfully do so, he will have already etched his name in Yankee lore forever before turning 24.

Before Game 1 of the ALCS, Judge told Torres he was about to earn the team's championship belt. Torres nodded, hit the field, and knocked in five runs in a 7-0 win. Can't wait for Year 3.
