Aaron Boone's Latest Update on Aaron Judge Will Leave Yankees Fans Furious
By Brendan Balsamo
For the past two years, the New York Yankees haven't been able to catch a break. After being almost completely destroyed by injuries in 2019, the team still managed to win 103 games, but 2020 looks like it's going to be very similar on the injury front.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone told YES Network on Saturday that star slugger Aaron Judge is going to get some testing done to get to the bottom of his injury.
Judge has been out of action for some time now due to some shoulder soreness. He still has yet to take batting practice outdoors since the team arrived to camp on Feb. 17. There's still no timetable for his return to action.
Yankee fans should be rightfully infuriated considering this is happening with yet another one of their top players. With Luis Severino out for the season, both James Paxton and Giancarlo Stanton out for Opening Day, and not knowing when Judge is supposed to return, the Bombers just can't catch a break. Fans have every right to be upset considering this is already happening for the second year in a row and the medical staff seemingly took no precautionary measures to keep tabs on their oft-injured names this offseason.
