How Long Would it Take Aaron Judge to Recovery From Rib Surgery?
By Sean Facey

The New York Yankees received some troubling news on the injury front on Friday. After a slew of tests, it was revealed that superstar slugger Aaron Judge sustained a stress fracture in his rib that will keep him out at least two weeks.
The far more disturbing idea being tossed around in wake of the injury, though, is that Judge may end up having the rib surgically removed. If that happens, then the Yankees will be without their star outfielder for quite some time.

Rib Surgery Recovery Time
According to Dr. Michael K. Obeng, the initial recovery from rib surgery takes around two weeks. After that, the patient may experience soreness for up to six weeks.
If Judge were to undergo the surgery, then that could mean he could miss close to two months worth of time (or more), which is the last thing the Yankees need.
The team already has to start the year without Giancarlo Stanton as he deals with a calf injury. Losing Judge for an extended period of time would put the Yankees' depth to the test fresh out of the gate.

The Yankees had better hold their breath and hope that the next two weeks go well for Judge, because if they don't he may not be suiting up for the team until well into the season.
