Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur Already at Odds Over Joint Practices
By Scott Rogust

The success of the Green Bay Packers relies on quarterback Aaron Rodgers, as it does every year. However, he's not afraid to speak his mind when he's unhappy with how things are going in the Frozen Tundra.
This week, the Packers are holding joint practices with the Houston Texans ahead of their preseason game on Thursday night. New Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is a fan of sharing the practice field with Houston.
Rodgers, on the other hand, is no fan.

Aaron Rodgers does not.
But at least the Packers coach and quarterback can agree that after two days of work with the Texans, their offense still has a ways to go.

"I wouldn't mind if they didn't do it for another 14 years," Rodgers said following Tuesday's practice, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
This was the first joint practice that the Packers have held since 2005 (with the Buffalo Bills), hence the "14 years" remark by Rodgers. On the contrary, LaFleur said he "absolutely 100%" wants to do this again, which is...interesting.

Don't worry, Packers fans, both player and coach agreed on one thing, and that 's the fact that they want to see some improvement in the offense following practice this week. As it is with any new head coach, it takes a bit of time to successfully implement a new offensive scheme.
But when it comes to joint practices, Matt LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers will always share differing views. Hopefully, it's not the first of many clashes in philosophy.
