Matt LaFleur's Attitude and Aaron Rodgers' Winter Numbers Should Have Packers Fans Ready for Bears
By Chris Russo

A Green Bay Packers quarterback needs to know how to perform well in cold weather, period. That's just life in the NFC North.
And Aaron Rodgers has that whole thing figured out.
The legendary Packer QB has historically great numbers in frigid conditions, especially within the friendly confines Lambeau Field -- and that's one of a couple great things for Packers fans have going for them entering Sunday's matchup with the hated Chicago Bears.
Aaron Rodgers has a career passer rating of 110.7 in regular season home games in December and January. That's No. 1 in NFL history (min. 200 pass attempts). Forecast calls for a high of 15 degrees on Sunday at Lambeau.

It only makes sense the Rodgers' passer rating would be so high in December and January in Green Bay. Before their two-year slide in 2017 and 2018, the Pack made the playoffs in seven straight seasons with their MVP at the helm, winning a Super Bowl and making two more appearances in the NFC Championship.
As if Rodgers' winter heroics were not enough to fire up the Cheeseheads this weekend, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur perfectly embodied the spirit of Packers-Bears cold weather football with one succinct and NSFW quote.
Matt LaFleur on Sunday vs. Bears: “It’s going to be a tough-ass game.”

That could not be more true after the Bears' performances in recent weeks. The Bears have won three straight games to improve to 7-6, two games behind the Minnesota Vikings for the second NFC Wild Card spot. Their last three wins have come against teams under .500 (New York Giants, Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys), but the last two have been in primetime and featured good performances from Mitch Trubisky.
It's fair to bet the Packers will be ready to crush the Bears' spirits on Sunday.
