Aaron Rodgers confirms, finally, he won't play this season

We can finally put an end to the speculation. After he suffered a torn Achilles during the Week 1 Jets win over the Bills, it was assumed that Aaron Rodgers would be out for the season. However, he kept leaving hope open that he'd somehow be able to return.
With Gang Green continuing to lose games, though, any hope of the postseason has been wiped away. With that, Rodgers forcing a quick return is out of the question, with him confirming that he's not going to be playing this season. Thanks for finally putting an end to the rumors, Aaron.
#Jets QB Aaron Rodgers says on @PatMcAfeeShow that he's not 100% fully medically cleared as of now, and it's probably more realistic in another 3-4 weeks.

When the Jets traded for Rodgers, fans were hoping that he'd be able to get the team back to the playoffs. Unfortunately, the season-ending injury ruined those plans.
