Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick Close on $28 Million Malibu Mansion
By Michael Luciano
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former racing driver Danica Patrick are among the biggest inter-sport couples in the world right now, and if that status was in any doubt, the pair just dropped eight figures on a ritzy new home in California.
Rodgers and Patrick spent a reported $28 million on a beachside villa in Malibu that was previously owned by British pop star Robbie Williams.
I guess this means that things are pretty serious?
Rodgers and Patrick rented the house, which is 4,636 square feet with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, over the summer before officially became the owners in November. The house was also previously owned by Netflix COO Ted Sarandos and leased by pop legend Janet Jackson.
Rodgers is in the middle of one of the finest seasons of his career, as his Green Bay Packers have a 12-3 record and a shot at home-field advantage in the NFC postseason. This sure seems like a fitting gift for a year's worth of excellent performances on the job.
Congrats to the happy couple on their new beachside mansion.
Just don't expect them to invite Aaron's family over for dinner anytime soon.
