Aaron Rodgers Donates Helmets to California High Schools Affected by 2018 Wildfire

Fresh off of helping finance the California Golden Bears' football team's brand new locker room, it seems Aaron Rodgers is still in the giving mood.
The California native's next charitable act was to donate 375 football helmets to three schools in the northern part of the state, which includes his hometown of Chico. Rodgers will be donating the gear to Chico High, Paradise High and his alma mater, Pleasant Valley High School, all of which were impacted by the 2018 wildfires.
Last year, Rodgers donated $1 million to volunteer efforts in the wake of the devastating wildfires which plagued the state, and even made a heartwarming video encouraging prom-goers of high schoolers in the area. He's now come back with another philanthropic move, giving back to the area that raised him.
And the helmets he provided were of high quality as well, having been described as "top-rated hats" from the NFL and NFLPA lab tests.
"Those kids deserve the best," Rodgers said of the students.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback will be part of the NFL's 100th Anniversary Season kickoff tonight in Chicago against the Bears, but he will make his impact felt off the field as well.
