Aaron Rodgers Expected to Start Thursday's Packers-Raiders Game in Winnipeg

Fans north of the border nervously biting their nails over if they will see future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the preseason can rest easy.
After missing their second preseason contest against the Baltimore Ravens with a back injury, Rodgers is expected to play in the Green Bay Packers' third preseason scrimmage against Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders in Winnipeg.

While some would prefer that Rodgers doesn't sniff the field before their Week 1 matchup against Matt Nagy and the Chicago Bears, it looks like Rodgers wants to at least play a few series in Canada to get practice reps in Matt LaFleur's offense.
Rodgers, who has dealt with a nagging back injury that some believed could have sidelined him for some time, returned to practice today and looked just fine zipping passes to wide receivers Malik Taylor and Allen Lazard.

Rather than spend the whole preseason in bubble wrap as he prepares for a vicious Chicago defense, Rodgers is going to slice up Gruden's defense in Manitoba in order to shake off the rust before the games start counting.
