Aaron Rodgers is Ready to Reunite With Randall Cobb Before Packers-Cowboys Showdown
By Scott Rogust

Week 5 will present a battle between two of the top teams in the NFC, as the Green Bay Packers hit the road to face the Dallas Cowboys. The two franchises have participated in epic battles in recent years, but this time, it will be a little different.
Wide receiver Randall Cobb will be on the opposite side for the first time in his career after signing with the Cowboys this offseason. When approached by the media about the impending matchup against his former team, Cobb hinted he will have extra emotion on the field.
Will Randall Cobb have a little extra emotion facing his old team on Sunday? "You tell me on Monday. You tell me on Monday what you see. I pride myself in playing hard and being the best that I can be week in and week out. And I'm definitely going to give my best this weekend."

The Packers opted against re-signing Cobb in the offseason, putting their faith in young receivers Marquz Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison. The Cowboys jumped at the opportunity and signed Cobb to a relatively cheap one-year, $5 million contract.
As for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, he admitted it will be strange seeing Cobb wearing a Cowboys jersey.

Despite the importance of the game, Rodgers admitted that he'd like to throw some passes to Cobb during pregame, like he did last preseason with Jordy Nelson when he was a member of the Oakland Raiders.
Aaron Rodgers said maybe he’ll get to throw Randall Cobb some passes before Sunday’s game like he did to Jordy in Oakland before a preseason game last year.

While the two had been teammates for the better part of eight years, both Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb will put their friendship aside. Cobb is looking for revenge against the team that let him walk, while Rodgers looks for a win in order to keep pace with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North standings.
