VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers and Packers Players Post Powerful Clip Condemning Racism
By Scott Rogust

The death of George Floyd hasn't just dominated the general news cycle, but also the sports media world. Floyd was killed after getting his neck pressed on by the knee of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for nearly nine minutes. As you might've seen on social media, professional sports teams have released statements condemning police brutality and racism in the country. The Green Bay Packers took things a step forward, as they released a video promoting the fight for racial equality. Those who spoke in the clip include quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Davante Adams and head coach Matt LaFleur.
Enough is enough.

A truly powerful message from the Packer organization.
Packers' statement was powerful because they let the players do ALL the talking.

The team has an opportunity to be a real agent of change within a highly divided state. Their video will make a lot of people in Wisconsin uncomfortable. That's ok. Strong first step.
The Packers want to see changes in communities and the justice system. They say we can talk about it, but the only way we can succeed in ending racial injustice is through actions. Green Bay as a whole felt compelled to deliver a passionate message, which is receiving plenty of feedback from multiple communities.
