Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers offered high praise for young cornerback Tony Brown on Wednesday, just one more reason for the Cheesehead faithful to get excited for the new season.
Rodgers discussed how Brown serves as a source of inspiration for him and a number of his Packer teammates. He specifically highlighted the DB's work ethic, charisma and locker room energy.

In only three starts last year, Brown forced two fumbles and had 30 tackles. While the sample size is small, the former Alabama cornerback is beginning to prove himself on and off the field.
Defense has occasionally been a major weak point for the Packers during Aaron Rodgers' time in the NFL, so seeing him speak this way about a defensive player should be telling.

Brown has had an impressive training camp, and Rodgers' vote of confidence is just the icing on the cake. Look for Brown to shore up Green Bay's defense, and look for Rodgers to play a more comfortable style of football this year as a result.
