Aaron Rodgers turned down massive Packers extension

While we wait to see what Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers decides to do, it has been made clear that money isn't going to play a role in his decision. Nope, not at all.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Green Bay's front office put an offer on the table that would have made him the highest-paid player in the NFL. Still, he turned that down and said no thanks.
This off-season, the Packers offered Aaron Rodgers a two-year contract extension that would have tied him to Green Bay for five more seasons and made him the highest-paid QB and player in football.

Rodgers declined the offer, proof it’s not about the money.
What does this mean for Rodgers' future? Who knows. Green Bay tried to make him happy with a monster extension, but that wasn't enough. Back to the drawing board for Brian Gutekunst and the front office.
