VIDEO: Actor and Yankee Fan Chazz Palminteri Details How He Can Tell Jose Altuve is Lying About Buzzers
By Ian Anderson
As the Houston Astros' cheating scandal gets worse and worse, New York Yankees fan Chazz Palminteri decided to take his anger out in a healthy manner on Friday: by detailing how you can tell whether or not somebody is lying, and applying what he's learned over the years to Jose Altuve's postgame interview after his ALCS walk-off. Will it hold up in a court of law? No. Interesting? Of course!
What Palminteri is saying adds a bit of fuel to the fire for Yankee fans, but ultimately, this advice will not be considered by the league (of course).
See for yourself, though, by watching Altuve's chat with Ken Rosenthal. Do you buy what he's selling?
Re-watching Ken Rosenthal ask Jose Altuve why he did not rip his jersey off following his walk-off home run in Game 6 of the ALCS, while keeping in mind what Palminteri was saying, is very interesting.
Altuve laughs, asks for the question to be repeated, then changes his answer multiple times. Quite suspect. We're a long way from determining whether or not MLB will actually find substantial evidence behind these claims about Astros players using buzzers, but who doesn't enjoy a famous actor stoking the rumor mill? This is a whole new type of Bronx tale.
