Adam Thielen out for season after ankle surgery

With the Minnesota Vikings fighting for their postseason lives, things just got even more complicated for them and quarterback Kirk Cousins. That's because they'll have to try and win the next two games without a star playmaker.

On Wednesday, a report has dropped stating Thielen underwent ankle surgery on Tuesday. Just like that, his 2021 season has come to a close. This is brutal for Minnesota as a whole.

Thielen, when healthy, is one of the best wideouts in the NFC. He's been so consistent for this team. Now, Cousins will have to try and get the job done in Week 17 without one of his favorite weapons.
