VIDEO: Adam Thielen Putting in Some Pregame Running is a Big Relief for Vikings Fans

In a great sign for Vikings' fans, star wideout Adam Thielen was seen going through some intense pregame warmups just a couple hours before from Saturday's matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Thielen reportedly suffered an ankle injury at practice earlier this week, needing stitches to close up the wound he suffered.
#Vikings WR Adam Thielen is going through a pregame workout under the watch of OC Kevin Stefanski and head ATC Eric Sugarman. First time he’s run since his ankle got gashed and needed stitches. Expectation is he plays, but they wanted to see him before making the final call. pic.twitter.com/Xnpt1HTw81

Already traumatized from the team's recent history of practice-induced injuries (who could forget Teddy Bridgewater in 2016), hearing about Thielen's ankle issue was a scary report for many in Minnesota. However, seeing Thielen work through this pregame should serve as a relief to any fans whose fingers were crossed all week long waiting for updates on this situation.
#VIkings WR Adam Thielen (stitches) is officially active. So is #49ers pass-rusher Dee Ford, who is returning from a hamstring injury. Kwon Alexander is also active.

With Thielen looking like himself, it appears as though the Vikings offense will be at full strength in this contest. Facing off against a stingy 49ers defense, Minnesota is going to need all of the help it can get.
