Adam Thielen Remaining Out of Practice Wednesday is Bad News for Vikings
Adam Thielen's health has been a big concern down the stretch for the Minnesota Vikings, as the star receiver has been dealing with a hamstring injury for a large chunk of the season.
It was reported that Thielen didn't practice on Wednesday. Despite the practice being a walk through, players' injuries are reported as if it were an official practice.
The Vikings star receiver has been sidelined since Week 9 with his hamstring injury, which was re-aggravated in Minnesota's clash with the Chiefs.
He initially sustained the injury in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions while catching a touchdown.
While Thielen's continued absence from practice doesn't guarantee he won't suit up this weekend against the Lions, it doesn't bode well for his availability in the Week 13 clash.
The Vikings are in dire need of a win as they push for a playoff spot in the NFC. They're now one game back of the Packers in the division following Monday night's loss to the Seahawks.
The two-time Pro Bowler will hopefully be back in action soon, but the lingering hamstring injury is certainly a concern for the Vikings. It's limited Thielen to just eight games of action thus far, and could keep him out even longer.
