Kyle Rudolph's game-winning touchdown in the corner of the end zone ultimately stole the show in the Minnesota Vikings' win over the New Orleans Saints, but the play that set them up on the goal line, Kirk Cousins' 43-yard bomb to Adam Thielen, deserves plenty of recognition.

That's because, according to Thielen himself, it's the exact same play that Cousins completely whiffed on way back in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears, raising doubts about his future with the franchise, and his current group of wideouts.

How poetic is that for the guy who finally got his first postseason win?

Cousins has often drawn the ire of fans for his inconsistent play, and the missed pass in Week 4 was one of those moments where criticism was washing over him in waves.

To see him run the exact same play in overtime in a playoff game and throw an absolute dime is just perfect. It shows the mental fortitude of Cousins, and how he and this team have grown over the course of the season.

They've taken all of their problems and struggles in stride. They played themselves into the playoffs. And when they time came, they stepped up and executed to deliver themselves into the next round of the postseason.
