Adam Thielen Ruled Out for Vikings Thursday Night Game Against Redskins
An unbelievable run is coming to a close for star Minnesota Vikings receiver Adam Thielen. In his first six NFL seasons, No. 19 is yet to miss a game.
However, that will change on Thursday night when Minnesota faces Washington, as the WR has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
Obviously, this is a bit of a bummer for Thielen. He started off his career having played in 87 straight games. However, he suffered his injury after hauling in a touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins in the first quarter of the win over Detroit in Week 7.
Thielen was able to walk off the field with trainers by his side, but he wasn't able to return to action against the Lions.
The insane play he made in the video above resulted in him missing Thursday's action. With Thielen off the field, look for Cousins and Stefon Diggs to take over the aerial attack for the Vikes. Minnesota is 5-2 on the year, just behind the 6-1 Packers in the NFC North standings.
