VIDEO: Adrian Peterson Frying the Heck Out of a Christmas Turkey is Strangely Mesmerizing

Adrian Peterson is clearly a "turkey on Christmas" kind of guy. He missed out on a victory meal of the bird with the Redskins failing to secure a Thanksgiving day matchup (not like they would've won it anyway), and with his team squarely out of playoff contention, Peterson is delighting himself in other ways with a hearty meal of his own for Christmas day. He posted this video to his Twitter on Christmas Eve, showing the beginning stages of the meal he will partake in come Christmas.

Deep-frying a turkey produces a taste like no other method can, and judging by Peterson's face, he's more than proud of the creation that will soon come to be in the hours that follow this video. Despite his team's performance this year, he's got to be proud of his production on the field as well. Peterson just moved into fourth place all-time on the NFL's total rushing touchdowns list.

Winning may not be a good word to describe the season he and his fellow Washington Redskins have had thus far, but juicy, succulent and steamy are all adequate adjectives to describe the look of that turkey.
