Adrian Peterson Gave Terry McLaurin a Special Gift for Throwing Key Block on Historic TD Run

Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson has been an absolute force in the NFL for the past dozen years. As he has gotten older, he has started to slow down, but Father Time is not stopping him from moving up the NFL all-time leaderboards.
Three days ago, in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Peterson moved up in the all time rushing TD list, tying Walter Payton for fourth all-time. Terry McLaurin, the rookie wide receiver, threw a perfect block, sealing off the only defender that could have taken down "All Day." Peterson was so grateful for his teammate's terrific block that he gifted McLaurin with the football he took across the goal line, complete with a personalized message.

Watch as Peterson looks as if he will be taken down, but Terry McLaurin completely obstructs the path of the defender, giving Peterson the lane to the TD zone.

The Washington Redskins are last in the NFC East division with a 3-11 record. However, having a player like Adrian Peterson to preach leadership and selflessness is something that team should carry with them always. McLaurin certainly will.
