The baseball world is up in arms after the Houston Astros, a team vying to get to the World Series, are trying to legally exploit a weakness in the other team in order to get an advantage. Oh, the horror!

The Astros have been firmly in the baseball media's crosshairs of late for claims that they are trying to steal the opposing team's signs and are taking advantage of pitchers tipping their pitches. Houston manager AJ Hinch has laughed off the whole affair, calling the concern and paranoia "funny."

"If they don't want to tip their pitches,'' Hinch said, "then they should take consideration into doing the same thing over and over again.''

This is the only correct take on this situation. By no means is this cheating. If a pitcher is making a mistake and inadvertently telling a hitter what pitch they are going to throw, the Astros have every right to exploit that mistake.

Tyler Glasnow's glove position told the Astros if a fastball or curveball was coming, can you seriously be upset with the 'Stros for taking advantage of that knowledge?

The Astros will continue to search for any indication that a pitcher is tipping his stuff, and they will certainly utilize that knowledge to their advantage if the situation arises.

There's nothing illegal about the practice, whether baseball fans are appreciative of it or not.
