VIDEO: AJ Hinch Winter Meetings Press Conference in Midst of Sign-Stealing Scandal Was Uncomfortable
By Scott Rogust

The vast majority of MLB teams are answering questions about potential trades and contract negotiations with free agents at the Winter Meetings. But not the Houston Astros, who continue to have the sign-stealing scandal follow them wherever they go. Astros manager AJ Hinch made himself available to the media in San Diego, and spent 19 minutes declining comment on questions surrounding the league's investigation.

Talk about uncomfortable, but these are the questions that should be expected from here on out.
After losing to the Washington Nationals in the World Series, ex-Astros pitcher Mike Fiers and various sources told The Athletic that the team had cameras in the outfield of Minute Maid Park to steal signs from their opponents during the 2017 season. Not only that, but Houston allegedly relayed signals by banging on a trash can and using a whistling system.
AJ Hinch just finished 19 uncomfortable minutes of meeting with the media. Mostly declined comment on anything related to the cheating investigation. Said he’s talked to MLB “a couple of times” and now is just “waiting” for a verdict. “Everything is in their hands.” pic.twitter.com/YH9qQBvGSr

It didn't end there as the New York Yankees saw flashing lights in the outfield during Game 6 of this past season's American League Championship Series.
Until the league renders it's decision, Hinch better brace himself for the onslaught of questions.
