Alabama and Wisconsin Announce Massive Home-and-Home Football Series
By Parker White
The nation's top college football programs are known to schedule cupcake games as part of their non-conference slate, but on Monday, Alabama and Wisconsin announced they'll be doing something a bit different. They've agreed to a home-and-home series for 2024 and 2025.
The first game between these two longtime powers will take place in Madison on September 24, 2024, with the second coming in Tuscaloosa on September 13, 2025.
"We're happy to have added another quality non-conference opponent for a home-and-home series in Wisconsin," said Crimson Tide athletics director Greg Byrne. "Traveling to Camp Randall, one of the nation's oldest stadiums, will make for a great road contest early in the 2024 season. Having them return the trip in 2025 to Bryant-Denny Stadium will also certainly provide a boost to our home slate, and we look forward to the opportunity."
Alabama and Wisconsin have battled two other times, with the last matchup coming to open the 2015 season. In that contrest, the Tide defeated the Badgers 35-17.
