Alabama-LSU is Unlikely to Move to Primetime and That's Bonkers
By Parker White

As is stands right now, the top two teams in the country are Alabama and LSU, both of whom are in the SEC West. These two teams square off in a few weeks, which could arguably be the best regular season game of the season, and yet, it likely won't be at night in primetime.
Talk about a missed opportunity for CBS. Instead, the game is likely to air at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Alabama-LSU unlikely to move to night kickoff this time. https://t.co/8H8U1Xau2W

CBS is afforded one primetime game a year, which they already used when No. 7 Notre Dame played No. 2 Georgia. With a couple more weeks left until this game takes place, maybe they can negotiate some kind of trade where they can have this game between Alabama and LSU in primetime.
It doesn't appear like that will happen, but we can hope and dream, right?
There were rumors a deal was brokered so CBS could get Alabama/LSU in prime time after already having used their night option on Georgia/Notre Dame.

If this game ends up getting played in its allotted 3:30 p.m. ET slot, it would be the first time since 2010 where Alabama-LSU was played outside of primetime.
To make this even worse, this could end up being the best matchup this rivalry has ever seen.
