VIDEO: Nick Saban Surprising 103-Year-Old WW2 Veteran With FaceTime Call is the Greatest
By Tyler Kemp

We've come to learn that Nick Saban is not the most technologically savvy head coach in college football, but he sure does know how to inspire someone. We know all about the issues he had setting up his email, but he's apparently familiar with FaceTime and decided to give us an incredible moment by hopping on a call with a 103-year-old WWII veteran.

Major Wooten of Cullman, AL is in hospice, has dreamed of meeting the coach for years.

For his usual stone-cold demeanor on the field, Saban sure knows how to warm someone’s heart off of it.
Major Wooten of Cullman, AL, was decked out in Alabama gear with a Nike shirt and straw hat that Saban made sure to compliment. Wooten also mentioned to Saban that he has been a fan of Alabama football since 1938 and is still a fan of Saban’s players and coaching style.
Well if that is not one Hero meeting another Hero! I’m in tears! Proud to be a Bama Grad! #RollTide ❤️?❤️?❤️

These are the non-football moments that make Saban legendary. We obviously know about his championship pedigree and the dynasty he has built in Tuscaloosa, but to take a few minutes out of his day to pay respect to a WWII veteran who is a Tide superfan is truly what sets him apart.
