During this difficult time in which nothing feels quite normal anymore, many are searching for a sense of calm and peace as the coronavirus pandemic continues. Many of our favorite athletes have been outspoken on the caution we need to take in "flattening the curve," and these message can be a welcome source of comfort and solidarity. However, the latest message from Alabama head football coach Nick Saban may be the strongest indicator yet that one day, things really can and will return to normal.

There are very few people in American sports with as much power and influence in the media as Saban. He quite literally is the face of a massive fan base and a college football program that is responsible for upwards of $100 million in economic activity every year; it isn't hyperbole to say this may be one of the most effective arguments in favor of social distancing we've heard yet.
