The latest string of changes due to the coronavirus outbreak have now leaked in to college football, as programs get set to prepare their prospective athletes for the NFL Draft in April. Amid the entire uncertainty shrouding the sports world, Nick Saban and the University of Alabama have made a move to protect its athletes ahead of the draft.
Alabama announced that its Pro Day, originally scheduled for March 24, has been pushed back until April 9. Additionally, the school announced that no NFL personnel can make visits to the university until after March 30, in an effort to discourage people from traveling.

Its Pro Day has been rescheduled from March 24th to April 9th.
While scouts have been clamoring to get a glimpse of Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and assess the status of his hip, teams will be forced to wait until much closer to the draft, which could impact where the Hawaii native ends up getting selected.
Interestingly enough, the re-scheduled date for Alabama's pro day falls on the same day Tagovailoa had planned to hold his individual showing.

This is just the latest example of an organization stepping up and taking responsibility to protect its players. Hopefully more schools follow in Bama's footsteps in the coming weeks.
