Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa Will Be a Game-Time Decision Against Mississippi State

Could the Crimson Tide be without star signal caller Tua Tagovailoa for another game? Right now, his status for Saturday's tilt with Mississippi State is completely up in the air.
The left-handed signal caller suffered an ankle injury earlier this season, forcing him to miss the tilt with Arkansas after undergoing surgery. He returned to play in the team's heartbreaking loss to LSU, but it looks like the pain hasn't completely gone away.

Tagovailoa sure didn't look like himself at times last Saturday against the Tigers, especially when he fumbled the ball, untouched, on the team's opening drive.
With his ankle giving him more issues, Nick Saban and Co. could be forced to go with Mack Jones under center. On the year, Tua has thrown for 2,584 yards and 31 touchdowns. With Bama heavy favorites against the Bulldogs, the coaches could choose to rest Tagovailoa to try and get his ankle close to 100 percent for the stretch run.
Wasn't his sharpest game by any games, but Tua Tagovailoa ended up throwing for 418 yards and four touchdowns 20 days after ankle surgery.

Pretty impressive.
With Alabama at No. 5 in the College Football Playoff rankings, they need to keep winning and hope for some luck to get back into the Top 4. They'll also need Tua playing his best, and with as complete a body as possible, to try and go on another title run.
