Alabama RB Najee Harris Returning for Senior Season
By Michael Luciano
Alabama is losing plenty of star power now that the likes of Tua Tagovailoa, Jerry Jeudy and Jedrick Wills have declared for the NFL draft, but the Crimson Tide will retain a few of their key, star players on offense and defense.
Alex Leatherwood, Dylan Moses, and DeVonta Smith are already coming back, and star running back Najee Harris has joined them. Yup, the star RB will be back in Tuscaloosa this fall.
Harris emerged as the lead dog in the Alabama backfield, as the 6-2, 230-pound running back ran for 1,224 yards and 13 touchdowns, while adding 304 yards and seven touchdowns as a receiver. With his rare blend of size and speed, he wouldn't have to wait long to hear his name called in the draft.
The NFL will have to be put on hold, as Harris and Alabama look to get back into the College Football Playoff. Getting the RB back for next year obviously is a major boost for Nick Saban and Co.
