Alabama's Najee Harris, Brian Robinson, Devonta Smith and Terrell Lewis Suspended for Season Opener
By Sam Dunn

At long last, it's nearly time. The Alabama Crimson Tide are just four days away from kicking off their 2019 college football campaign, but when they trot out onto the field to face the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday, they'll be doing so without two pieces on offense available for the first half.
Running backs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson Jr. are suspended for the first two quarters of the game after reportedly being late for an unspecified team event this week.
Alabama RBs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson will be suspended for the first half of the season opener against Duke for missing a team function, according to a source.

Nick Saban's Tide are fully expected to steamroll the Dukies in Tuscaloosa regardless of these brief absences, but the discipline is notable given the fact that 5-star freshman back Trey Sanders is already out for the season.
And according to the latest reports, these two aren't the only ones due to miss time via suspension.
Updated, and it's not a happy one. Devonta Smith and Terrell Lewis are in trouble too.https://t.co/NDyDEaiovW

As a sophomore last year, Harris carried 117 times for 783 yards and 4 touchdowns. Robinson, also entering his junior year, picked up 272 yards on 63 carries in 2018, scoring twice.
Kickoff Saturday in Atlanta is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
