Alabama already has Auburn as a major in-state rival. Families can be divided over team allegiances and displaying a flag or even a t-shirt featuring a specific logo could start a fight.

Fans in Alabama will now be facing an even bigger challenge to civility in 2020. That comes with the news that the state will begin selling LSU license plates. LSU fans can now come out of the shadows and show their fandom on a daily basis after their team won the National Championship.

Ed Orgeron's regional takeover continues as LSU fans can now proudly represent their team in the rival state of Alabama. Louisiana is separated from Alabama by Mississippi. What will be next? LSU license plates all up and down the East Coast?

AL.com's article on the news shares that Florida State, Mississippi, Ole Miss, and Georgia also have license plates in Alabama. This should be enough to drive Alabama and Auburn fans insane when spotting these plates.

LSU narrowly beat both Auburn and Alabama in consecutive weeks in 2019. That was bad enough for the state. Now comes the LSU takeover. Let's hope this doesn't lead to any road rage.
