Alabama WR DeVonta Smith Will Return to School for Senior Season
By Ian Anderson

One member of the Crimson Tide leaves, another decides to stay.
Shortly after quarterback Tua Tagovailoa declared for the 2020 NFL Draft, wide receiver DeVonta Smith announced he will return to Alabama for his senior season. Obviously, this is major news for Nick Saban and Co.
Smith was an All-American for Alabama last season and caught 68 passes for 1,256 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was part of the Tide's three-headed monster at wide receiver that involved Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III.
The 2020 wide receiver class is absolute loaded, with it being considered one of the best groups in years. Smith could have still been a top pick, but he's decided to return to school to keep working on his craft and hopefully see his stock rise for 2021.
