VIDEO: Alex Bregman Ironically Drills Foul Ball Directly at Fan Who Booed Him in Impressive Display
By Adam Weinrib

In what's becoming an everyday occurrence at this point (it's still the first week in March, and we're already used to it!), the Astros were once again booed by a chorus of Mets fans on Sunday afternoon in Port St. Lucie. One loyal fan recorded the display and posted it online for the world to see on Sunday, and shortly thereafter, Astros slugger Alex Bregman either took aim at him or rewarded him, depending on your vantage point.

Yes, during this very same at-bat on a cloudy Sunday, Bregman fired a foul ball his way, which he...caught and photographed.

Not bad at all! A pretty special gift from a pretty turbulent offseason.
In case it wasn't already abundantly clear that something was very different with Houston's 2020 campaign, Bregman looking completely off balance on a Noah Syndergaard fastball will warm the cockles of any 'Stros hater's heart.

In the olden days, Bregman would've surely fouled that one off confidently, too. We're living in very different times.
