Alex Bregman Rolled into World Series Game 6 in Exact Same Outfit He's Worn Before Last 3 Games
By Andy Loughmiller
The Houston Astros have rallied from being down 2-0 in the World Series to win three straight -- all on the road -- and take a 3-2 advantage over Washington. While the AL champs certainly don't believe luck has anything to do with their three-game winning streak, Alex Bregman isn't taking any chances with his pregame attire.
The AL MVP candidate has been seen wearing the exact same outfit before Houston's last three wins, and he was once again spotted rocking the same dark-colored pants, red flannel, and white shoes as he entered Minute Maid Park for what could be a clinching Game 6.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
During a postgame interview following Game 5, Bregman did promise that he planned on wearing his lucky shirt for a fourth straight game.
He was true to his word. The two-time MLB All-Star even went on to imply that he hasn't even washed the ensemble since he initially debuted the look before Game 3 in Washington.
Bregman and the Astros will have a chance to close out the series tonight in their home ballpark against the Nationals. If Houston gets the win tonight, Bregman might have to consider wearing his now-famous ensemble before every game next season.
