Alex Cora is Amazingly Hypocritical for Attacking Marcus Stroman's Intensity

Toronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman shut down the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, going six innings and allowing just one run and lowering his ERA to 2.81.

As many of you know, Stroman pitches with a chip on his shoulder and doesn't mind giving it to the opponent, both with words and actions on the field. After quick-pitching Michael Chavis in the fourth inning, Red Sox players like Chris Sale were chirping at Stroman, and manager Alex Cora made his feelings towards Stroman known after the game over a simple baseball act.

Stroman laughed off Cora with a hilarious tweet, but it's hilarious that someone like Cora would go that far and trash Stroman for his intensity. I mean, take a look in the mirror one time, Cora.

Cora and his Red Sox players are known for being intense and showing emotion, which plenty of teams would see as showing them up, too.

In fact, it's in the Red Sox historical fabric to be loud, boisterous Idiots. How is what Stroman's doing less acceptable than Kevin Millar riding around in a Cowboy hat? Literally what is the differentiating factor here?

If you are against Stroman's antics, then clean it up with your own players. Yes, Stroman can be a hot dog on the mound, but so what? Today's players wear their emotions on their sleeve, which is something the modern fan enjoys watching.

Cora is all about "letting the kids play," unless it's Marcus Stroman and other opponents. Got it. As Cora once said to an esteemed franchise down south, "Suck on that."
