Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez Spotted at Florida Gym Despite State's Stay-at-Home Order

Florida was a little late to the party, but common sense finally prevailed, as state government officials issued a stay-at-home order during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Apparently that order from Governor Ron DeSantis doesn't relate to a certain A-list couple.

This week, former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez were spotted leaving a local gym after getting a workout in, despite a sign on the door stating that the facility was closed to the public.

You mean to tell us that the power couple doesn't have a home gym? That's...pretty shocking.

The business obviously made an exception for the engaged couple. Eyewitnesses say Lopez's security wore a protective mask and wiped down door handles and gym equipment with a disinfecting wipe.

As the entire world has seen, Florida hasn't exactly taken the COVID-19 crisis too seriously, as spring breakers flooded beaches and streets, despite the urgent pleas of health officials to practice social distancing and self-quarantining. That all changed earlier this week, as coronavirus cases in the Sunshine State rose to nearly 7,000, which is the sixth-highest in the country.

Rodriguez has been pretty outspoken about the importance of staying at home. In fact, the couple had posted plenty of videos of themselves and their children spending quality time at home.

This time, they were caught bending the rules and the public isn't too happy about it.
