Allen Robinson Ruthlessly Destroys Random Guy on Twitter That Insulted His Date
By Michael Luciano
You come at Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson, you'd best not miss. When someone on Twitter made a rude comment about the woman whom Robinson brought with him to a Bears charity gala, the former Penn State star brought the heat as he totally eviscerated the absolute clown.
It's simple. It's been done a million times before. But it still works. A simple "your mother" barb can shut down even the most passionate troll. That's all there is to it.
Also, if you're really trying to get into a fight online with a guy at a charity ball, you need to re-evaluate your priorities. Seriously.
Robinson is entering his second season in Matt Nagy's uniquely creative offense in Chicago. In just 12 games last season, Robinson racked up 734 yards and four touchdowns after missing almost all of 2017 with an injury. He figures to get in even better sync with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and crank things up in 2019.
Over the course of last season and this offseason, the 25-year-old has established himself as a No. 1 receiver on a playoff team and one of the NFL's resident kings of Twitter. Think twice before taking stray shots at this man.
