Alvin Kamara Calls Out Random Fan for Using Racial Slurs to Criticize His NASCAR Fandom
By Jerry Trotta
In light of the ongoing racial injustice and social change protests that are sweeping the nation, NASCAR announced the decision to ban the Confederate flag at races and league events. The commendable settlement resonated with New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara, who's been outspoken about racism, and he actually attended Sunday's race at Homestead-Miami speedway in support of the decision.
Unfortunately, Kamara's newfound fandom prompted one sickening fan to call him and his "culture" out on Facebook. The three-time Pro Bowler responded by putting the fan on blast after he used a racial slur in a conversation about the aforementioned protests.
This is exactly why the demonstrations, despite what the media's lack of coverage might indicate, haven't let up one bit: because of repulsive individuals like this that view attacking blacks as "open season."
The Saints star deserves tremendous credit for exposing this sicko, and you can bet that social media soldiers will respond by finding out all the necessary information about him -- where he works, etc. -- so that faces the consequences of showcasing his unabashed racism. Could be tough, considering there's already a famous Harry Henderson who is a fictional apeman.
Baltimore Ravens tailback Mark Ingram showed support for his former teammate with a simple response that perfectly sums up the deeply disturbed man.
Kamara not even taking the moron seriously makes this all the more satisfying.
Seeing professional athletes join the fight in weeding out racism in the United States has been incredibly inspiring, and you can only assume that it will continue into the future.
