Alvin Kamara may avoid suspension from battery case

The Pro Bowl turned out to be a bit more eventful than Alvin Kamara thought it would be. The superstar running back ended up getting in a fight while in town for the PB, and was arrested on battery charges.
The expectation for a while was that Kamara would end up getting suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. That may not be the case in this instance, though.
Solid #Saints nuggets from Nick Underhill here. Growing belief Alvin Kamara may avoid suspension, Chris Olave could lead team in yards, and NO likely to be more "WR-based" with more play-action and 3-WR sets in an "open offense." Jameis Winston's pass attempts expected to rise. https://t.co/cxd0TFwnJT

Kamara indeed could avoid a suspension, which is what the New Orleans fans are hoping for. It's up in the air whether he'll suit up for Week 1, but the latest update sure is promising for his chances.
