VIDEO: Amanda Nunes Retains Bantamweight Belt by Defeating Germaine De Randamie at UFC 245
By Mark Powell

Amanda Nunes retained her status as bantamweight champion, but it was tougher than expected against Germaine De Randamie. Nunes was tested through five rounds, and won by decision in what was a fairly easy result to settle on by the judges. The 31-year-old is typically quick to put her opponents out of their misery, but De Randamie was able to overcome some early adversity.

Nunes' has looked fatigued in previous fights that go beyond just a few rounds, as she goes all-out very early on, exerting so much energy to put her opponent in a compromised position right away.
De Randamie, however, was able to overcome the early onslaught.
