Kevin Durant's devastating injury rightfully consumed most of the storylines of Monday night's do-or-die Game 5. The four-time Scoring Champ went down early on in the second quarter with what is expected to be diagnosed as a torn achilles tendon.

What fans and skeptics weren't talking about afterwards, however, was Kawhi Leonard's sheer no-show up until an extraordinary offensive surge late in the fourth quarter.

The Claw may have ended up with 26 points but was surprisingly inefficient and ineffective for three and a half quarters on Monday night. And it was all thanks to the walking, ageless legend that is Andre Iguodala.

With the help of Klay Thompson on some possessions, the 35-year-old Iggy is managing to impede this postseason's greatest offensive weapon like nobody else in the league!

And in case you were wondering why Kawhi opted not to take the last shot of Game 5, it was thanks to Iguodala's help defense, which forced Leonard to pass out of the double team.

Andre also held Kawhi to a 9-for-24 shooting night, a clip that would have been a lot worse if not for the 10-0 run that the Raptors star went on by himself in the fourth.

Steph Curry and Klay will receive all the plaudits for their offensive firepower but its about time we stop bashing Iguodala's three-point shooting and start appreciating just how valuable his defense is to the Warriors.
