Andrew Luck Contract Details
By Mark Powell

Upon the news that Andrew Luck has decided to retire from the NFL, some might wonder what that means for the Colts in terms of paying his contract moving forward. With some help from Spotrac, we can provide that information.
Andrew Luck Contract Details
Luck signed a five-year deal in 2016 which was set to pay him $122 million. Essentially, he's forfeiting his earnings moving forward (2019-21). Indianapolis will have a $24 million dead cap hit, but that doesn't mean much this season given the Colts are unlikely to make a serious run at a Super Bowl with Jacoby Brissett under center.
Andrew Luck had 3 years, $64M left on his contract including a $6M roster bonus to be paid 9/17/19. He earned $97.1M in his short career w/ the #Colts. He leaves behind $24.8M of dead cap split as $18.4M in 2019 & $6.4M in 2020.

Andrew Luck Net Worth
Luck's net worth is upwards to $97 million based on the amount he's made over the course of his current Colts contract.
Per someone who reviewed Andrew Luck’s contract, there’s nothing that prevents the team from collecting the signing-bonus proration outlined in the CBA. In short, he’d owe the #Colts $12.8 million if they chose to collect.

Andrew Luck Degree
While Luck's intentions after football are unknown, he could choose to use his degree. Luck went to Stanford and graduated with a degree in architectural design. At the very least, however, he should have a spot in a broadcast booth should he wish to deviate from his degree.
