VIDEO: Andy Dalton Throwing Bullets With Perfect Accuracy in His Backyard Proves He Needs to Be on an NFL Roster

The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to make LSU QB Joe Burrow the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, which will likely bring about an end to the Andy Dalton era after nine seasons at the helm. The Red Rifle isn't totally ready to call it quits in the NFL, however, as he showed that he still has the accuracy necessary to stick in this league during a workout in his backyard.
Dalton had the worst season of his career last year, as he threw just 16 touchdowns and 14 picks, but he was surrounded by a rookie head coach in Zac Taylor, a bad offensive line, and a rudderless team that won just two games all year.
The arm talent and accuracy are still NFL quality. There are plenty of teams who could use him as a high-end backup or bring him in to light a fire under their current starter.
The Bengals might be best suited ditching Dalton and giving Burrow total control of the offense, but that doesn't mean the former TCU star should be thrown to the scrap heap. Any team in need of a spot starter or quality veteran backup should try to bring someone with Dalton's pedigree on board.
