I must warn you, though, that you'll have to trust me when I say the velocity here is absolutely superhuman. The path of the ball is wonderfully pure. The Angels have a golden opportunity to bottle this energy during this upcoming season, and use it to take down the mighty Houston Astros machine, which already seems to have a few dings and dents in the first several weeks of camp.

In the years to come, the Angels' postseason path might become a little cleaner when a few additional Wild Card spots are added to October.
