How to Live Stream the Game
The matchup will be televised on Fox Sports North, Fox Sports West and MLB Network at 1:10 p.m. ET. Further streams can be found on the MLB Streams subreddit.
The Angels enter this game coming off a 3-4 loss on Tuesday night against the Twins in the second game of the series.
Angels lineup
Tommy La Stella will remain in the top spot, with the incredibly talented Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani rounding out the head of the lineup. Jared Walsh, a two-way player who is utilized at first base and as a relief pitcher, will make his MLB debut on Wednesday. He was hitting .302 with 10 homers and 26 RBI at Triple-A Salt Lake. He will start at first base and bat eighth in the order.
Trevor Cahill is on the hill for Los Angeles on Wednesday. He's struggled in 2019, having logged a 6.35 ERA with 32 strikeouts across 39.2 innings. He's surrendered a league-high 13 home runs this season, so the Twins' bats will be looking to unload on him.
Twins Lineup
For Wednesday's matinee, Max Kepler will lead off, with Jorge Polanco and Eddie Rosario composing the top of the lineup. With Mitch Garver hitting the IL, Miguel Sanó was recalled and he will be available off the bench.
Jake Odorizzi will look to continue his fine display of pitching this season. The veteran hurler hasn't surrender an earned run through his past 20 innings of work. On the year, he's recorded a 2.32 ERA and 0.94 WHIP to go with 43 strikeouts in 42.2 innings pitched.
The Twins have been one of the better offensive teams in the league, as they've scored 214 runs for an average of 5.2 runs per game. Although they haven't been a good team against right-handers, as they have a team batting average of just .237, Cahill has been mistake-prone thus far. This should be an intriguing matchup on Wednesday afternoon.
